GM Study Bible
The producers and publishers of this Study Bible are firm believers in the complete divine inspiration of the Bible. They hold the conviction that God Himself inspired the original writers of each of the 66 books, guiding them to document, word for word, in the languages they used (Hebrew, Greek, and a little Aramaic), precisely what God intended. Thus, there is unwavering confidence in labeling the Bible as the Word of God. Their primary authority for this belief stems from the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ himself. In Matthew 4:4, He conveyed that the Old Testament words had originated "from the mouth of God." Jesus affirmed that not even the smallest part of a single letter of the law of Moses would fade away until all was fulfilled (Matthew 5:18).
He acknowledged that the words attributed to David were "by the Holy Spirit" of God (Mark 12:36). Jesus emphasized that what had been spoken to the leaders of Israel was deemed "the word of God," and boldly declared that "the Scripture cannot be broken" (John 10:35). He highlighted that His own teachings were directly from God the Father in heaven (John 12:49; John 14:24). Jesus asserted that the Holy Spirit of God would guide His apostles "into all truth" (John 16:13), a teaching that resonated with His apostles themselves, who communicated that all Old Testament Scriptures were brought forth "by inspiration of God" (2 Timothy 3:16), and that Old Testament prophecy was delivered through holy men of God who "spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit" (2 Peter 1:21).
The English text of the Bible and accompanying notes contained within this Study Bible encapsulate this reverence for divine inspiration.
THE BIBLE TEXT: The text utilized in this Study Bible is not a new translation but a revision of the Authorized Version, commonly known as The King James Version (hereinafter referred to as KJV), initially published in 1611. The revision process has been meticulously undertaken with constant reference to the same Hebrew and Greek manuscripts as those employed by the translators of the KJV.
THE NOTES: The sole objective behind crafting and disseminating these notes has been to furnish readers with assistance in comprehending the Word of God better, thereby facilitating more profound implementation. These notes embody numerous years of arduous labor. Prudent efforts have been exerted to expound on what is contained within the Biblical text without tainting it with personal biases or preconceptions. Acknowledging the fallibility inherent in human endeavors, it is plausible that there may be occasional factual inaccuracies or interpretational errors within a verse or passage. Should any such issues be identified and brought to our attention, and upon our conviction of their presence, we will gladly rectify them in subsequent editions. Unwavering commitment to truth governs our endeavors, and anything less than absolute truth in thought, speech, and writing remains unacceptable and disconcerting to us—as should be the case for all recipients of this work. May all glory be attributed solely to God if users of our Study Bible arrive at a deeper comprehension of truth through its utilization. We echo the sentiment expressed by the psalmist who proclaimed, "Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to Your name give glory, because of Your mercy and because of Your truth" (Psalm 115:1). In this lies our gratification and fulfillment.
We have furnished an abundance of references throughout the notes and included a brief concordance towards the end. While we strive for accuracy in all references provided, we are cognizant that oversights during proofreading may occur sporadically. If readers detect any such oversights, we would be grateful for their notification.

Pros
- Free to download and use (online and mobile apps available)
- Focus on accessibility for Indian users — multiple Indian language study Bibles (Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Telugu, Gujarati, Hindi, etc.)
- Contains extensive study notes prepared by Grace Ministries (G.R. Crow & staff) aimed at helping readers understand and apply Scripture
- Bible text is a careful revision of the Authorized (KJV) Version with reference to original Hebrew and Greek manuscripts
- App includes helpful study features added over time (Strong's number index for Hebrew & Greek, red-letter display for Jesus' words)
- Audio New Testament files available (useful for users who prefer listening or have limited literacy)
- Cross-references and a brief concordance included in the study material
- Available on both major mobile platforms (Android and iOS) and in print
- Regular updates have added language content and features over time (changelog shows ongoing development and bug fixes)
- Targeted at first-generation followers and users with limited access to Scripture in their native language, which fills an important niche
Cons
- Primary English text is a KJV revision — users preferring modern dynamic-equivalence translations (NIV, ESV, NLT, etc.) may find it less accessible
- App binary size is relatively large (~275 MB on iOS), which can be a burden for users with limited device storage or slow connections
- Limited number of App Store ratings and reviews (small sample size), so public feedback and social proof are sparse
- Study notes acknowledge the possibility of errors and occasional proofreading or interpretive mistakes — notes may not be academically rigorous or error-free
- Some language editions are incomplete (e.g., notes for only portions of the Old Testament in certain language Bibles), so coverage varies by language
- UI/UX and presentation appear utilitarian rather than polished (site and app descriptions emphasize content over modern app design)
- Dependence on a small organization/developer (Grace Ministries / Jeevan Nair) could limit resources for large-scale support or rapid feature expansion
- Historical notes indicate recurring bug fixes — while actively maintained, some users may encounter occasional bugs
- Because the work expresses a specific doctrinal stance (high view of inspiration and KJV-based text), it may not suit readers seeking a more ecumenical or critical scholarship approach
- Some features or added language notes are incremental; users needing complete scholarly apparatus (detailed critical notes, variant manuscripts, interlinear texts) may find the app limited
